As a UX/UI Designer at Store Ninja, you will design intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for Shopify stores that engage users and convert visitors into customers. You’ll collaborate with developers, marketers, and project managers to bring design concepts to life, ensuring every store we build offers an outstanding user experience. Your designs will focus on usability, accessibility, and aesthetics, tailored to meet the unique needs of e-commerce businesses.
In this role, you will combine your expertise in design principles with a deep understanding of e-commerce workflows and customer behavior. From wireframes to prototypes, you’ll guide the design process from start to finish, ensuring that each project aligns with the client’s brand identity and business goals. Responsibilities:
- Create user-centered designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for Shopify stores.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct user research and analyze customer behavior to inform design decisions.
- Ensure all designs align with brand identity and e-commerce best practices.
- Optimize the user experience by addressing usability issues and implementing feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio of e-commerce projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- E-commerce Expertise: In-depth understanding of online shopping behavior and conversion rate optimization.
- Design Principles: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, and responsive design principles.
- Research Skills: Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, including developers and marketers.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on usability, accessibility, and ensuring a seamless user journey.
