Responsibilities:
As a Shopify Developer at Store Ninja, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and Customizing Shopify Themes: Craft bespoke Shopify themes and modify existing templates to align with brand guidelines and client specifications.
- Collaborating with Design and Marketing Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers and marketing professionals to create engaging, user-friendly online store experiences that drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Integrating Third-Party Applications and APIs: Seamlessly incorporate third-party apps and APIs to extend store functionality, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
- Optimizing Website Performance: Regularly test, debug, and optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO, enhancing overall user experience and search engine rankings.
- Providing Technical Support and Maintenance: Offer ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement updates to maintain the security and functionality of Shopify stores.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 2+ years of professional experience developing Shopify stores, including theme customization and app integrations.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify's Liquid templating language.
Knowledge of E-commerce Best Practices: Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows, user experience, and conversion optimization.
SEO and Performance Optimization: Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques for optimizing Shopify store speed and performance.
Experience with APIs and Integrations: Ability to work with Shopify APIs and integrate third-party apps to enhance functionality.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to debug complex issues and develop innovative solutions for unique e-commerce challenges.
Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers.
